On June 16th, 2020 Mike Naranjo's daughter, Margo, was in a horrific auto accident when she was hit by another vehicle. Margo was terribly injured and has not been able to communicate with the outside world since then. Mike and his family has lead prayers for her every night on Facebook since she was still in the hospital. There are now hundreds of people praying every night with them.

For over thirty years Brooke has been involved in Christian Ministry. At his home parish, he has been involved in many ministries. He taught religious eduction for several years. He was an adult leader in the Youth Group, where He lead small group discussions on matters of faith and gave talks on the yearly retreats. He lead service trips for high school students. He started a “Finding Faith through Films” ministry, where he helped show Christian messages in popular movies. He also ran the sports and outdoor recreation for the parish’s vacation bible camp.
